Privacy Policy
Version 2026-09-15
PairMD™ is operated by Doctor Match LLC. This policy describes how the PairMD service handles information in the current consumer matching platform.
Information we collect
Account information may include your name, email address, authentication records, session information, and information supplied by Google or Apple if you choose social sign-in. Patient matching information may include age range, general location, desired specialty, insurance, visit preferences, identity preferences, Basic and optional Dive Deep questionnaire answers, and saved matching preferences. Some answers can relate to health needs or care preferences. Providers may supply professional profile, credential, practice, contact, address, insurance, questionnaire, subscription, and profile-photo information.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, operate and secure PairMD, save preferences, calculate informational compatibility, administer provider profiles and subscriptions, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain legal acceptance records, and produce the limited aggregate Doctors Plus insights described below. Compatibility is not a medical-quality, safety, skill, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical-appropriateness rating.
Provider access
A provider does not automatically receive your individual questionnaire answers, vaccination preferences, mental-health preferences, medication or treatment philosophy, match history, or browsing history because the provider appears in results or because you choose to contact the practice. Do not submit medical records, urgent clinical messages, or information intended for treatment through PairMD unless a future feature expressly states that it is designed for that purpose.
Doctors Plus aggregate insights
Doctors Plus uses only a fixed, reviewed set of non-clinical preference dimensions to create broad state-level trends. Reports use minimum cohort and cell thresholds, secondary suppression and rounded percentages. They do not expose patient names, account identifiers, raw responses, exact locations, exact cohort sizes, provider-controlled city/ZIP/date drill-downs, or newly added questionnaire questions by default. PairMD does not represent these reports as satisfying HIPAA de-identification standards merely because these safeguards are used.
Service providers and disclosures
PairMD uses vendors and infrastructure providers to operate the service, which can include hosting and deployment, database/storage, authentication/OAuth, payment processing, transactional email, and limited website analytics. Stripe processes provider payment information in the subscription flow; PairMD does not need to store full payment-card numbers. Google or Apple receive information required for their sign-in flows when you choose those options. Email providers receive information necessary to deliver service emails. We do not intentionally send patient questionnaire answers to advertising networks, unrelated analytics, or session-replay tools.
Analytics and tracking
PairMD disables its configured website analytics on questionnaire/onboarding, match-result, authentication, patient-terms, and provider routes. Future advertising pixels, session replay, or tracking technologies must not receive health or questionnaire information without a separate privacy and legal review.
Retention and deletion
We retain active account and preference information as needed to provide PairMD and maintain security and legal records. Patients can use the authenticated account-deletion control in the patient dashboard to permanently remove their PairMD patient profile, saved questionnaire/preferences, consent record, authentication accounts, and active sessions. Some information held by infrastructure providers may remain temporarily in backups or security records according to provider retention cycles or where retention is legally required.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to limit unauthorized access, including authenticated server-side access controls, restricted provider analytics, signed payment webhooks and scoped upload controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and report suspected unauthorized access to our dedicated privacy and security contact at doctormatchLLC.business@gmail.com.
HIPAA and health privacy
PairMD does not claim that use of this service by itself establishes HIPAA compliance, that all information handled by PairMD is protected health information under HIPAA, or that every PairMD data flow is governed by HIPAA. Legal obligations can depend on PairMD's relationship with a healthcare provider and how a feature is used. Other privacy and breach-notification laws may apply even when HIPAA does not.
Children
Patient accounts are intended for adults age 18 or older. An adult parent or guardian may use the service to search for care for a dependent. PairMD is not designed for direct accounts for children under 13.
Choices, changes and contact
You may edit saved preferences, disable Doctors Plus weekly emails where applicable, or delete a patient account using available account controls. We may update this policy as PairMD changes and will update the version/date when material changes are made. Privacy, security, or data-deletion questions can be sent to Doctor Match LLC, operator of PairMD™, at doctormatchLLC.business@gmail.com.
