1. Informational matching service
PairMD provides information and tools intended to help patients discover and compare healthcare providers. Matching results, compatibility scores, provider profiles, and other information are informational only. PairMD does not select a provider for you and does not guarantee that any provider is appropriate for your needs.
2. No medical advice
PairMD is not a healthcare provider and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, medical opinions, or other medical advice. Information presented through the service is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
3. Not for emergencies
Do not use PairMD for medical emergencies or urgent medical needs. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency medical care immediately.
4. Your choice of provider
You are responsible for deciding whether to contact, select, or receive care from a provider. You should independently evaluate a provider and verify information important to your decision, including credentials, licensure, availability, services, and whether the provider is appropriate for your needs.
5. Insurance and costs
Insurance participation, network status, coverage, benefits, and costs can change and may not always be complete or current. Before receiving care, verify coverage and network status directly with your health plan and provider. PairMD does not guarantee insurance coverage or the cost of care.
6. Provider information and availability
Provider information may be supplied by providers or other sources and can change. PairMD does not guarantee provider availability, acceptance of new patients, compatibility, quality of care, or any particular health outcome.
7. Patient information
You agree to provide accurate information when using the service and to keep your account credentials secure. Your questionnaire responses are used to provide informational matching results and should not be treated as a clinical assessment.
8. Privacy
Your use of PairMD is also subject to the privacy notices and policies made available through the service. Please review those materials to understand how information is collected, used, stored, and shared. Do not use the platform as a substitute for communicating urgent or clinically necessary information directly to a healthcare provider.
9. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, submit unlawful content, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
10. Service availability
The service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, PairMD provides the service without guarantees that it will always be available, accurate, complete, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Doctor Match LLC, doing business through PairMD, and its owners, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, reliance on matching results or provider information, or a patient's decision to contact or receive care from a provider. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Changes and governing law
Doctor Match LLC may update these Terms as the PairMD service changes. When required, you may be asked to accept an updated version. These Terms are governed by applicable law, including the laws of the State of Missouri, without limiting rights that applicable consumer law does not permit you to waive.
13. Agreement
By accepting these Terms during patient registration and creating an account, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Patient Terms of Service.

PairMD™ is a service operated by Doctor Match LLC. These terms are product terms for the patient experience and are separate from the Provider Terms of Service. They are not a representation or guarantee that the platform satisfies every legal requirement applicable to a particular use or circumstance.
